Rebecca (Jenion) Stanley | B.A., M.A., J.D.
Rebecca is a writer, lawyer, mediator and mother. She comes from many generations of peace-makers and poets. Her family comes from Scottish, Irish, Welsh & Ashkenazi Jewish immigrants and settlers, many of whom were founding members of the Quaker community of Coldstream, Ontario on the territories of Deshkan Ziibiing (Chippewas of the Thames First Nation), Oneida Nation of the Thames, and Muncee-Delaware Nation.
She grew up living in many different places, including Vancouver, BC, Tsawwassen, BC, Portland, OR, Unionville, ON, Burlington, ON, and Regina, SK. Rebecca currently lives with her family in Vancouver on unceded Coast Salish territories, practicing family law through mediation and collaborative divorce, helping families navigate some of their most vulnerable times.
